hi. care to recommend a good cheat code on how to enjoy vigan without burning a huge amount of dough? like what tours should I look for, what sites should I look at, etc.
ReplyDeleteStay at Vigan Hotel, it's the cheapest decent one in town. Eat food at hawker stalls or street restaurants. The attractions are free because its basically the streetscape and plazas. For museums, entrance fees are minimal.
ReplyDeleteDon't stay at My Vigan Home Hotel! I had a very bad experience. Their aircon unit sucks! I can't imagine that I had to get my refund (and it was not a full refund!) at 1 am to look for other hotels! They were not accommodating and the service was very poor!
ReplyDeleteLove this blog. Very helpful!
ReplyDeleteMy Vigan Home ayos dito mura maganda pa pang family and barkada actually dito nga pinapatuloy yung mga celebrity visitors ng province ee nice blog
ReplyDeletea newly renovated place to stay where visitors can truly get a feel of the grandeur of a luxurious and plush place dating back to the time of the Spaniards...location is right in the heart of Plaza Salcedo, near the beautiful Baroque Vigan Cathedral, Divine Word College of Vigan, Phil National Bank, next to Max's and various restaurants...This place comes highly recommended because of its location...

Thanks!
We had a bad experience with Gordion Hotel. Better go to Vigan and scour for a nice accommodation as walk-in guest. Don’t be deceived by nice websites or pictures.
ReplyDeleteGlad that I came across this site, thanks Ivan. I am planning to go to Pagudpud and same time explore Vigan. Looking forward to be there, now I know where I should be on or before May 3, 2012. Thanks again!!
